Love is in the air, and this weekend people are excited to be spending the day with the people they love. Valentine’s Day is special for people who love to bring gifts to their significant other and loved ones.
Students are excited for this weekend not only because of Valentine’s Day but also because it’s a four day weekend for students, with Friday and Monday as school holidays!
“What I like about Valentine’s Day is the fact that it’s all about love,” senior Audrina Tedder said. “It doesn’t matter if you’re with your friends, family, or partner, you just feel all the love and it feels sentimental and happy. Just a day to remind your loved ones how much they mean to you.”
Seniors can go out of town to take their partner on a date or hangout. Valentine’s is traditionally about couples but also about the people you love and care for.
“I will be spending valentines day with my friends, we are hosting a Galentine’s party,” senior Samaya Wiley said. “It’s going to be very fun, and I’m excited to spend time with my friends.”
