Students recently had the chance to take a break from the hustle and bustle of school to bond with each other through songs and worship.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) held Fields of Faith on October 11 in the high school auditorium. The event included special guests, student speakers, and five songs all devoted to worship.
Fields of Faith is an annual event held in October every year. It allows students to pray and worship with each other. Students can invite friends and bond with one another using their faith in God.
¨I loved how they let our peers sing. It was amazing,¨ sophomore Delaney McGowan said. ¨I felt really into it and I felt that everyone in the room was feeling Jesus move in them. I feel that it has left an impact and many people were moved by Blakes and the special guests words.¨
Sophomore Blake Philips was one of the speakers that shared his faith and hope in God with everyone present.
¨I felt like people should hear the word of God,¨ Philips said.
