Twirlers Advance to State

All 7 twirlers will advance to state after competing at UIL Regional Solo and Ensemble in Fairfield last Saturday. State competition will be held at Pflugerville in the spring.
“I wasn’t as scared as I thought I would be,” sophomore Suzune Awalt said. “Once I started twirling, it felt like practice.”
Each twirler competed individually, and two ensembles consisted of Awalt, sophomore Elizabeth Pillans, junior Kristavia Nelms and senior Gilbrea McNeil and sophomores Kylie Story, Morgan Roberson, and Abigail Gallegos.
