Williams-Whitaker, Thaler, and Watkins go against Lady Lions in last game of district.

The Lady Eagles will play Rockdale at Waco Robinson HS on October 29 in Bi-District playoffs.

“My team has worked very hard to get where we are,” senior Alyssa Williams-Whitaker said. “We’ve put in a lot of practice and work, and it has truly paid off. We are ready to push as far as we can into the tournaments.”

The Fairfield Lady Eagles won against Teague in three sets on Friday, taking first place in District 20.

“The fans were really great, especially in our game against Teague,” senior Kendal Crawford said. “We needed that win, and it was great to have that support there.”

Tickets will be available Tuesday (8:30 to 3:30) at FHS for students, and at the Administration Building for the public. There are only 200 tickets available.

“We have gotten much closer which has improved how we play the game,” freshman Avery Thaler said. “I’m very excited to continue into the playoffs. Placing first in district gives us motivation to play our best during playoffs.”
