Twenty five will comprise the Grand Band flag and twirler line after tryouts last Wednesday. 

“I am super excited for next year’s lines,” sponsor Jami Jones said. “We have a lot of talented girls, and I can’t wait to see them all work together.”

 The new FHS twirler consists of upcoming senior and captain Kristavia Nelms, upcoming juniors Suzune Awalt, Morgan Roberson, Abigail Gallegos, Elizabeth Pillians, Kylie Story, Mayte Hidalgo, upcoming sophomore Ava Gann, and incoming freshmen Hadessah Owen, Lauren Scott, and Caleigh Taylor. 

“I am really excited to be a leader,” twirling captain Nelms said. “I can’t wait to make many memories with them.”

The new FHS flags consists of upcoming seniors and captain Destiny Dowell, Mariana Aguliera, Kaliya Gasaway, Brianna McDonald, Itzel Rosales, upcoming juniors Brooke Cobb, Tiffany Jauregui, Taniya Johnson, Johnnie Sims, Kiera Walker, upcoming sophomore Callie Morgan, and incoming freshmen Hillary Barajas, Adalyn Peterson, Andrea Reyes.

“I tried out for the flag captain to help with the new flags,” returning flag Captain Dowell said. “I am very excited to gain a strong bond with them.”
