The boys’ basketball team will compete against the Buffalo Bison here tonight at 7:30 P.M.

“The team shows a true passion and will for the game” head coach Kris Ballew said. “They show up everyday ready to work and get better.”

This is the first time that the Eagles will compete against the Bison this season. So far, the team has accumulated 10 wins and 11 losses.

“This is the most important game right now,” senior Kamren Griffin said. “This will be the difference between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.”

The boys played against the Crockett Bulldogs this past Friday and lost by 15 points.

“We have improved as a team in many areas,” Ballew said. “The one thing that stands out the most is how aggressive we are on offense.”

After playing against the Bulldogs and Goats, the team is now ranked 4th in the district. Franklin holds first with Crocket and Groesbeck in second and third.

“The overall depth that we have is better this year than last year,” Griffin said. “I truly believe that all of us can truly step in and compete with anyone.”
