This school year has just started and it’s allergy season. At this moment there are flus, colds, viruses, allergies, stomach bugs, and of course, covid to prepare against.
In order to keep the school clean and safe, everyone should keep sanitizing and washing hands.
We have just gotten over one of the biggest viruses we´ve had in years, Covid-19. For that to not start again we should be careful and be sanitary. Some things that could be done to be sanitary are washing your hands regularly, using hand sanitizer, and not touching unnecessary objects.
When students are ill and miss school, it may also end up affecting their grades, which will prevent some from participating in extra-curricular activities like athletics and band. Apart from that, excessive absences also prevent many students from being able to exempt exams at the end of the year. To be able to exempt one should have a class average of 80 and no more than 3 unexcused absences.
Being sick doesn’t just affect students, it also affects one’s school attendance and grades. Missing school and lower grades also could make one lose the opportunity to do extra curricular activities and exempt final exams. So the moral of the story is to Keep Germs Out and be sure to wash your hands before eating and sanitizing your hands after touching outside objects.
