Student artwork from the district will be on display at the Keller Entrance of Freestone Medical Center until February 24.

“I think this art show will really spread awareness about the impact art has,” junior art student Aidan Cobb said. “Art is a universal language.”

People who visit the art show, sponsored by the Trinity Star Arts Council, will be able to meet the student artists at a reception on February 10 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm

“I hope that people are inspired by the young artists at this school,” senior art student Adrianna Mendez said. “There are a lot of really talented students here.”

Culinary arts students will prepare food and refreshments for the event.

“It was fun making the food,” senior culinary arts student Dennise Salazar said. “We all enjoyed it as a group.”

Participating schools include elementary, intermediate, junior high, and high school.

“My art is an abstract piece called Warm and Cool Landscape,” third grade student artist Antaya P. said. “My parents said it is very good, especially for a third grader.”
