Golf Swings into Spring

The Lady Eagle Golf team will be headed to Teague, Texas for their third tournament on March 21. The team  will have their district tournament on March 28 in Tri- County. 

“My goal for this season is to be district champs,” senior Audrey Archibald said. “It is my senior year and that would be a great accomplishment to go out on.”

The team consists of senior Audrey Archibald, senior Makensy Isaacs, and sophomore Allie Hughes. The coach is Christopher Ballew.

“I have been working every day at the golf course from 4-6:30,” said sophomore Allie Hughes. “I go to golf lessons every Tuesday and I also compete in golf outside of school. 

Team members put in extra practice during the off season to prepare for the spring.
