December 17, 2021
Fairfield Lady Eagles will play in the Aggieland Tournament away Dec. 27-29. The Lady Eagles won their first district game which was December 7 against Groesbeck.

The team made it to state playoffs the last two season, winning the state championship in 2020. So far this season the girls have only had one loss to LaVega High School.
“The team has good chemistry this year, I am proud to say,” junior Shadasia Brackens said. “During my off time I continue to work hard. I go to the park with my dad and we work on my skills and improve them.”
The team placed first in two tournaments, the Lorena tournament on December 2-4 and the Fairfield tournament on December 9-11.
“I am very confident in my team this year,” Whitaker said. “With the right mindset and hard work, I believe we can make it far.”
