The Lady Eagles will play Westwood on their court tomorrow night in the second game of district play. District began September 8 with Fairfield taking a win against Franklin.

“We continue to grow both on and off the court, in volleyball and in friendship,” senior Kendal Crawford said. “I am having fun with my teammates and making new memories.”

Fairfield High School has shifted from a 4A district to a 3A district. The girls will begin with new rivals in mind. The Lady Eagles ended the non-district games of the season with a win against Brownsboro in the third set September 4.

“I look forward to getting to play more and getting better,” junior Audrey Archibald said. “The biggest challenges have been Covid and having to wear masks and the new rules.”

The varsity team consists of seniors Essence Watkins, Jenny Pina, Camii Wilson, Kendal Crawford, Alyssa Whitaker, juniors Jarahle Daniels, Ava Grecu, Makensy Isaacs, Madison Beasley, Breyunna Dowell, Makayla Van, Audrey Archibald, and freshman Averi Thaler.
